Fridays or the end of the week are always a special day....a group of us that have met for years
meet at an old (tho remodeled) restaurant and have breakfast...two of the fellas are very much
Democrats and are delighted that BHO is now president...one was talking about the "stimulus"
package and insisted that the funds going to LAUSD should be dribbled out over several years.
I pointed out that the purpose of the stimulus is to stimulate the economy and it could be
explained in the following manner...in the backyard of my grandparents was a well and water
pump...hanging on the pump, with a special hook , put there by the manufacturer of the pump
was a bucket with a long handled cup...the pumps had a handle that you moved (jacked) up
and down which drew up the water...but before you started pumping for the water you had to
dip the cup into the water and pour it into the top of the pump...there was a leather gasket at the
top that tended to dry out and shrink...the water poured from the cup made the leather wet
and expanded it, making the seal tight and hence you would draw up water when you pumped
it...that is what the stimulated the pump...water poured over it...by dribbling out the funds in
BHO's stimulus over 3 or more years it is like using a medicine dropper instead of the tin cup
to prime the pump...

Well tax day is over , I'll hear from them soon as I didn't enclose a check...what a rip off
millions, billions, NO trillions for bail-outs and yet here I am unemployed and owing them
money...for some reason I can't upload the video I wanted to show here...can you say "Word
Press"...as a student of economics we have entered a new period in the Republic's life ...I'm
not optimistic about the long term survival of our capitalistic system...I'm thinking the know
nothings , do nothings have "discovered" a way to vote themselves rich...btw BHO wasn't
just a neighborhood agitator...he taught the Acorn People in workshops and his source for
the teaching was a book named "Rules for Radicals" by Saul D. Alinsky...1971.

Superbowl Sunday
Here in Socal it's sunny and warm...the wind has finally slackened.
I'll watch the game but (for me) it's lacking intensity...maybe it's
the current habit of playing the games in the evening of the east
coast...of course I "don't have a dog in the race" ...now if it were
the Pokes I'd really be excited...alas n alack...I could always read
or pop in a DVD or clean...dayum I need to clean this place...or lure
a filly to clean it up...(likely chance)...later
